AmTrust International, a specialty insurer and subsidiary of AmTrust Financial Services, Inc., has named Tony Scott as Head of AmTrust Specialty Limited Claims, subject to regulatory approval, as well as Head of Claims for its Specialty business unit.

He later joined Canopius Group as Claims Operations Manager and Head of Retail & Delegated, before serving for seven years as Head of Claims at Geo Underwriting, an MGA providing specialist insurance solutions across Personal, Commercial, and Specialty lines in both the UK and international markets.
Based in London, Scott will report to the CEO of AmTrust Specialty Limited and functionally to the EVP, Global Chief Operating Officer.
He will be responsible for shaping and delivering the strategy for AmTrust’s claims operations, overseeing overall claims outcomes for the Specialty business.
In this dual role, he will lead claims management and resolution, drive process improvements, foster innovation, and ensure compliance with AmTrust’s Claims Management Principles and Minimum Standards.
