Consilium, a specialist re/insurance brokerage, has announced that its Risk Solutions division is launching a dedicated UK Contractors’ All Risks (CAR) facility.
Annual policies can be taken as standalone coverage or combined with Consilium’s liability facility to create a fully integrated risk solution.
The facility caters to a broad spectrum of contractors, including civil engineers, builders, allied trades, shop and office fitters, groundworkers, and landscapers. Standalone project policies offer protection for employers, main contractors, and project managers on contracts valued up to £12 million.
Policy features include contract works, plant (owned or hired), tools, and optional extensions such as existing structures, Delay in Start-Up (DSU), and loss of profit. Premiums begin at £1,000.
