Orion180, a provider of insurance solutions, and Neural Earth Inc., a company specialising in AI-based geospatial risk analytics, have announced a partnership aimed at improving how homeowners insurance risks are assessed, priced, and managed.

The initial focus will be on developing advanced wildfire analytics for areas with high wildfire exposure.
These tools combine historical data, property-level vulnerability assessments, and predictive modelling to support more precise risk evaluation.
The partnership also includes ongoing collaboration on product development initiatives. The objective is to provide Orion180’s underwriting teams with tools that help them evaluate risk accurately, communicate findings to policyholders, and coordinate with reinsurers.
This approach reflects an industry shift toward incorporating data-driven geospatial analytics to address the limitations of traditional risk models in the context of climate-related events.
“The future of underwriting lies in precision, speed, and intelligence,” added Ken Gregg, CEO of Orion180. “Our partnership with Neural Earth positions us as a trailblazer in applying advanced AI to risk analytics. Together, we’re building tools that help us protect policyholders with confidence, clarity, and choice.”
“Orion180 isn’t just adapting to a changing world—they’re shaping it,” said Blair Austin Childs, CEO of Neural Earth. “They’re showing that modern insurers can be bold, data-forward, and deeply committed to serving their communities. We’re proud to help drive this evolution—and to continue working together to uncover new market opportunities.”
