Price Forbes Re, an independent specialist risk strategy and reinsurance broker, has named Sanjay Shah as Vice President (VP), Business Development Actuary.

Shah will play a central role in expanding Price Forbes Re’s LPA business, continuing the team development initiated with Sanday’s appointment earlier this year.
A qualified actuary, he will focus on designing the firm’s LPA reinsurance strategy, advising on strategic direction and optimal reinsurance structures, and supporting both deal execution and post-transaction management.
Bringing over 15 years of post-qualification experience, Shah has held commercial roles across leading reinsurance firms. Most recently, he was pricing manager at Resolution Life and has previously worked at SCOR, Swiss Re, and Prudential, gaining expertise in pricing, transaction execution, deal oversight, and post-deal reporting.
Outside of his industry roles, Shah sits on the boards of two technology companies as a non-executive director and has acted as an independent advisor to several start-ups over the past six years.
