DUAL Europe appoints new Managing Directors for Transactional Liability Business

DUAL Europe, part of Howden, today announces the immediate appointments of Amaury Berhault and Jaume Benajiba as Managing Directors of its Transactional Liability business in Europe.

Berhault and Benajiba each bring over 17 years of expertise in transactional liability underwriting. They join DUAL from Acquinex, where they were Co-Heads of Southern Europe and Latin America and members of the European Management Team.

Berhault previously led the Southern European practice at ANV, served as Head of Transactional Risks at Marsh New Zealand, and worked as an underwriter at Tokio Marine.

Benajiba also led the Southern European practice at ANV and spent more than seven years advising on M&A transactions with Baker McKenzie, Deloitte, and DWF-RCD.

With a team of experienced underwriters across the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, the DACH region, France, and Italy, DUAL Europe is positioned to deliver market-leading solutions for transactional risks across the continent.

DUAL Europe’s Transactional Risk practice provides bespoke insurance solutions tailored to the needs of brokers and clients. The offerings include Warranty & Indemnity (W&I) Insurance, Tax Liability Insurance, Title Insurance, and Contingent Risks Insurance, designed to safeguard transactions of all sizes, from complex, high-value deals to smaller M&A opportunities.
