Direct Commercial Limited (DCL), a specialist insurance provider, has appointed Steve Knights as London Market New Business Underwriter, effective 9 December 2025.
His appointment underlines DCL’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its wholesale capabilities while complementing the company’s recent retail initiatives.
In his new position, Knights will focus on underwriting London-market and wholesale risks, working closely with brokers to develop business, determine pricing, negotiate terms, and deliver solutions that match DCL’s risk appetite. He will also support the New Business team in ensuring efficient placements and high levels of service for brokers.
This strategic addition reinforces DCL’s objective to expand its presence in the wholesale market and provide brokers with experienced underwriting support alongside its retail operations.
