America’s big 2-5-0 is coming up, and you can bet brands like Chevy are going to roll out something special.
When you need a shorthand for “American”, Chevrolet has been the go-to reference right alongside baseball and apple pie. So it’s entirely fitting, then, that it’s one of the companies celebrating 250 years of USA with a set of “Stars & Steel” models for you to pick up from your local dealer. Overall, five models are getting the treatment in a nod to the red, white and blue: the Corvette (notably, the only car here), Colorado, Silverado 1500, Silverado HD and Silverado EV.
Weirdly, unlike some past America-focused special editions, you don’t actually get the choice of red or blue here. Instead, the Stars & Steel special editions will be available in either white or black. The Corvette specifically matches a Santorini Blue interior with Arctic White, or an Adrenaline Red interior if you go for the black exterior option.

Across the range, you get American Flag-inspired stripes in Satin Silver or Satin Black, with “250” graphics on the exterior. The trucks get gloss black wheels, while the Corvette offers a few different options (either black, carbon-flash or carbon fiber, depending on the model). Generally, all the various badging across the cars and trucks getting the special treatment is blacked out, while you also get red accents on things like the brake calipers and the trucks’ tow hooks.
The Stars & Steel limited edition package will be limited to just 250 units on the Corvette. That said, if you nab one of the allocations, you can get the package on any Corvette, from the Stingray all the way up to the ZR1X, obviously including the ZR1, Z06 and E-Ray. All variants will sport the 3LT/3LZ trim, where applicable, so whichever model you choose will be the fully loaded version. The Corvette is also the only model that will be production-limited: The trucks will not have a cap, Chevrolet said in its official release Wednesday.
Package pricing is not available for any of the Stars & Steel vehicles yet, though Chevy proudly notes that each vehicle shown here is proudly assembled in the United States. Production for all of these models will kick off in early spring 2026, and we’ll likely get prices closer to that date.
