Allianz Reinsurance, part of global insurer Allianz, has appointed Anna Kohls as its new Regional Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Head of P&C Client Management of Allianz Reinsurance Branch Asia Pacific (ARAP), effective January 1st, 2026.
In the role, Kohls succeeds Kenrick Law, who is stepping down after 12 years of service.
From January, Kohls will oversee operations in Singapore and lead Allianz Re’s third-party P&C business across the Asia Pacific region.
She has served at Allianz for over 16 years, most recently as the Head of Group Reinsurance Western Europe & Ibero-LatAm in Munich.
In the past, Kohls served as Senior Program Lead, Allianz Customer Model MidCorp, Head of Group Reinsurance Asia-Pacific, Client Manager P&C Asia Pacific, Client Manager Africa, Transaction & Analytics, amongst other roles.
The firm explained that, “We are confident that her expertise and leadership will continue to propel ARAP to new heights.
