ShoreOne Insurance Managers, Inc., a provider of specialised insurance solutions for homeowners and agencies, has launched its residential homeowners policy in Rhode Island, now including comprehensive flood insurance coverage.

This product, already available in New Jersey, New York, South Carolina, and Massachusetts, aims to address a longstanding market gap where homeowners often require separate policies for property and flood insurance, which can lead to higher costs and limited coverage.
Cameron Rhodes, President of ShoreOne, commented on the launch: “Agents across the state have been eager for ShoreOne’s arrival, and we’re thrilled to finally deliver this all-in-one protection to their clients.”
ShoreOne recently appointed Frank Berry as Regional Director for Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Rhodes noted: “Frank’s deep industry expertise and proven success in building long-term agency partnerships make him a tremendous asset as we expand across New England.”
Coastal Rhode Island residents face frequent hurricanes, tropical storms, and tidal flooding, factors that complicate property protection and development. ShoreOne’s technology provides an integrated approach, delivering policies tailored to the unique risk profile of each home.
Doug Mayhew, Managing Director of The Hilb Group in Rhode Island, said: “There’s a significant coverage gap for coastal homeowners who often receive inadequate flood protection. “We’re pleased to see ShoreOne expanding into Rhode Island, and as one of the region’s leading coastal agencies, we fully support the continued growth of the private flood market.”
