His current position encompasses Client Management, Product & Innovation and the global management of SCOR’s reinsurance broker relationships.
Additionally, Duesterhaus contributes to the various ongoing transformation topics which include the implementation of SCOR’s Reinsurance Underwriting Platform (RUP), which connects all systems at SCOR and will significantly reduce the administrative burden for underwriters.
“With the RUP in place, the next steps will be to connect this with other industry platforms and players for future seamless integration and increased efficiencies using Ruschlikon best practice and the ACORD GRLC data standards,” Ruschlikon explained.
Adding: “Having been involved in various efficiency gain projects within SCOR, his seat as SCOR representative on the ePlacing Steering committee allows him to bring this expertise to the table, enhancing previous work being done by other members of this group.”
Daniel Duesterhaus, Head of P&C Underwriting Solutions, SCOR, commented: “As an industry, we should continuously strive to further develop our digital capabilities, and we can only achieve this together by agreeing to common data, code and standards in general.”
