HW International B.V., a privately owned specialist insurance broker group headquartered in the Netherlands, plans to adopt Dubois as its new trading name, effective early 2026.

The rebranding follows the company’s new ownership and will unite the group’s offices across Australia and Europe under one unified identity, reflecting its focus on complex risks, boutique care, and global reach.
It also supports the group’s next phase of growth, including hiring specialist talent and exploring opportunities in South and Central America.
From early 2026, the group plans to trade under the Dubois name across its offices, communications and online channels. Clients will retain the same policies, cover and day-to-day contacts they rely on today, while the new name strengthens the group’s positioning as a unified team serving clients and partner brokers internationally. The launch of the Dubois brand will be supported by a refreshed visual identity and an updated website, aligning how the group presents itself across all markets.
The name Dubois translates as “of wood” in French, a nod to the group’s founder, Hugh Wood, and a signal of its intention to continue that legacy under new ownership.
As part of the rebranding, Lignorum Consulting SL (ligno-consult.com) and AMID Firmen-Versicherungsmakler GmbH in Hamm, Germany, will join Dubois, with AMID’s rebranding scheduled for summer 2026.
“This next step in our journey builds on the values that have guided us from the beginning,” said Maurits Kleingeld, Owner, Dubois. “Hugh Wood built this business on trust and specialist knowledge, and that trust lives in our people and in the relationships they have with clients and brokers. Dubois carries that legacy forward with the people our clients know, the service they expect and a united name across all our offices.”
“Service is at the heart of how we work,” added Juan Alberto Garcia, Global CEO, Dubois. “Clients and partner brokers should recognise Dubois wherever they meet us. They will continue to work closely with people who know their business, receive clear advice and benefit from access to our global broker network of more than 90 partner brokers worldwide.”
