Arrow Risk Management, a specialist MGA underwriting platform, has announced the launch of its International Professional Indemnity (PI) practice and the appointment of Nick Cox as Class Underwriter.

Backed by ‘A’ rated capacity from a panel of leading Lloyd’s syndicates, the division has maintained a clear risk appetite, with key sectors that will include design and construct, intermediaries, and surveyors, as well as architects, engineers and solicitors.
The business will be written via the Arrow MGA platform, leveraging the firm’s proprietary technology to provide optimised operational services and carrier data provision.
Cox will spearhead the new practice as Class Underwriter, bringing over 35 years of experience in the London PI market to the role.
The executive, a prominent figure in the sector, has most recently served as Class Underwriter for WRB Underwriting having joined the company in 2005 and has held underwriting roles at CNA Re and Chubb.
Beyond his corporate roles, Cox has also been an active figure within the IUA’s Professional Indemnity Forum.
Mark Harrington, Arrow’s Chief Underwriting Officer, said: “Nick is an outstanding addition to the Arrow team. A highly respected underwriter with a strong track record in building successful PI portfolios, he brings deep sector expertise and is known by brokers for his proactive, solution-focused approach. His technical strength and collaborative style have earned him wide respect, and we’re delighted to welcome him onboard.”
Cox added: “I am excited to join Arrow. The team has built a platform purpose-designed to empower underwriters, combining superior capacity with a robust, data-driven infrastructure. With significant opportunities in the PI sector, I look forward to developing a strong, diversified portfolio on these solid foundations. It is an environment that truly enables expertise and supports long-term growth.”
