Zurich North America, the commercial property and casualty insurer, has announced the appointment of Jim Villa as Global Head of Accident & Health (A&H), Specialities.
Prior to that, he served as Head of A&H at The Hartford, where he provided leadership and direction for the company’s resurgence in the Specialty A&H market.
Previously, Villa spent 11 years at Chubb, most recently as Global Head and COO, Worldwide Life, A&H. Earlier in his career, he held leadership positions at Aon Consulting and AIG.
Zurich North America has recently made several leadership appointments, including Tom Morelli to the newly created role of U.S. Head of Energy this month, and Matthew Moore as Executive Vice President – Head of Group Captives in September.
