Zurich-domiciled global reinsurance company, Swiss Re, has promoted Nicole Pieterse to the role of Chief People Officer, effective January 1st, 2026.

Currently, Pieterse serves as Swiss Re’s Head Human Resources for Property & Casualty Reinsurance (P&C Re).
She joined the firm in 2015 as the Director of Human Resources, then served as Global Head of HR Corporate Solutions.
Before this, she was the Director of Human Resources for Credit Suisse, and has deep HR leadership expertise and a strong track record across the financial services industry.
