Clearwater UW Limited, an expanding specialty managing general agent (MGA) based in London, has received a majority investment from Aquiline, a private investment firm.
The MGA aims to establish an institutionalised, technology-enabled platform with a diverse portfolio spanning multiple specialty insurance lines and geographic regions.
Founded in 2023 and beginning underwriting in 2024, Clearwater UW specialises in marine insurance, offering a variety of products including Port Risks, Builders Risks, and War.
