Mitsubishi Electric Corporation has announced the completion of the sale of all shares in its Tokyo-based insurance subsidiary, Mitsubishi Electric Insurance Service Co., Ltd., to Marsh Japan, Inc.
This follows the company’s initial announcement in July 2025 that it had concluded a share transfer agreement with Marsh Japan.
As part of the transaction, the former Mitsubishi Electric Insurance Service has become a wholly owned subsidiary of Marsh Japan and has been renamed MEIS Insurance Services, Inc.
The impact of the transaction on Mitsubishi Electric’s consolidated financial results is not reflected in the financial forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2026, announced on October 31.
The company expects the impact to be minor and will provide updates promptly if there are any significant changes.
