AM Specialty Insurance Company (ASIC), an Excess and Surplus (E&S) insurance firm and an accredited reinsurer, has promoted Dominick Tassone Jr. to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of AM Specialty Insurance Company (ASIC US), effective January 1st, 2026.
The promotion aligns with AM Specialty’s commitment to strengthening its leadership team and expanding its footprint across the specialty insurance and reinsurance markets within the US.
Tassone Jr. brings over four decades of insurance industry experience to his new role, including underwriting leadership, program development, and strategic management.
He joined AM Specialty in 2023 as Chief Underwriting Officer (CEO), and has since played a central role in building the company’s US underwriting strategy, contributing to profitable growth, and advancing its specialty capabilities.
Before this, Tassone Jr. was the Vice President of Underwriting at Spinnaker Insurance Company. Previously, he worked at Aspen Insurance Group, where he held several senior executive positions leading underwriting strategy and operations within the US Program Division as Executive Vice President.
In the past, he has held leadership roles with Capitol Insurance Companies and QBE the Americas, overseeing regional underwriting and business development efforts.
The company said, “Dominick’s leadership will be instrumental in guiding ASIC U.S. through its next phase of growth, with continued focus on technical underwriting, disciplined portfolio management, and strong broker and program partnerships.”
