Catastrophic risk modelling software provider KatRisk has announced Martyn Sutton, formerly of reinsurance giant Swiss Re, has joined its leadership team as General Manager.
His proven track record of opening new markets, scaling high-performing teams, and globalizing enterprise software solutions will be pivotal in KatRisk’s next phase of growth, the firm stated.

The executive is joining KatRisk from Swiss Re, where he most recently served as Head of Sales & Origination P&C Reinsurance Solutions (Americas).
Prior to that, he served as Vice President – Head of US at AdvantageGo, a commercial re/insurance management solutions provider, for over five years. He was also the Chief Sales Officer for SpatialKey, now part of Insurity, and Chief Sales Officer for Innovation Group North America before that.
Sutton also previously served as Senior Vice President, Global Sales at Exigen Insurance Solutions for close to two years; and Senior Vice President at BenchStrength International, and held the role of US Country Manager & Global Head of Sales at Xchanging and President (US) of RebusIS Ltd.
