
Lockton Re, the reinsurance arm of the privately owned independent insurance broker, has announced the appointment of James Stephens as Head of Crisis Management in its London office.

“James has strong client advocacy experience across most Property & Specialty areas as well as Cyber with particular expertise in Crisis Management lines, especially Terrorism & Political Violence, Entertainment & Contingency, SRCC, Kidnap & Ransom and Product Recall. The creation of this role is a direct result of the growing demand we are seeing from clients and markets.”
Stephens joins Lockton Re with more than 35 years of experience as a reinsurance intermediary and is a recognized figure in the London reinsurance market. He previously worked at Guy Carpenter as Managing Director for Non-Marine Specialties, having moved there through Marsh’s acquisition of JLT Re, and earlier held the role of Executive Director at Towers Watson.
