AdA Syndicate 2024 receives permission to underwrite from Lloyd’s for 2026 YOA

AdA, a Lloyd’s and regional Marine & Specialty insurer, has announced that AdA Syndicate 2024 has received “permission to underwrite” from Lloyd’s for the 2026 year of account.

AdA Underwriters was established in May 2023 by Natasha Jodrell, James Grainger and Paddy Riordan, with the ambition of setting up a specialty syndicate within Lloyd’s under the Probitas Managing Agency. AdA operates regionally, with underwriters based in London, Manchester, and Birmingham.

AdA Syndicate 2024 underwrites Energy, Marine and Energy Liability, Ports and Terminals Physical Damage, Cargo and Freight, Aviation War, Aviation All Risks, and Specie.

2025 marked a milestone year for the company, as it graduated from being an SPA to full syndicate status.

During the year, AdA also welcomed a number of professionals, including Nick Green, Michael Boyd, Ann Sheppard, Jenny Browning, James Walker, Graeme Sprowson, Farhan Shaqib, Justina Budaite, Amelia Eltham, Rachael Cassar, Madeleine Bradnam and Capt Adrian McCourt.
