Beazley’s Board has appointed Paul Bantick, the firm’s Group Chief Underwriting Officer, as an executive director, effective 1 January 2026.

He oversees a broad range of insurance classes, spanning property and specialty lines, including directors’ and officers’, as well as highly specialised areas such as cyber, marine, aviation and political risks.
“Paul built his reputation over two decades as a pioneering leader in cyber insurance, where he was instrumental in the ongoing development and maturation of the market, notably through the creation of the first cyber catastrophe bond and the establishment of Full Spectrum Cyber and Beazley Security,” the specialist insurer explained.
Beazley’s Chair Clive Bannister commented, “My Board colleagues and I are delighted to welcome Paul onto the Board of Beazley.
“Paul’s entrepreneurial spirit, deep underwriting experience and knowledge of the global insurance industry will complement and further strengthen the Board, to help us fulfil our strategic ambitions.”
