I–RE, a specialist in captive specialist insurance and reinsurance, has announced the appointment of David Berlanga as Broker Relationship Executive.

He will be instrumental in promoting I-RE’s RE-PAID captive product, offering support to brokers and mid-market clients via digital communication, webinars, and in-person meetings.
Commenting on his appointment, Berlanga said: “I’m excited to be part of such an experienced team and to continue learning from people who really understand how to deliver for brokers and clients. I–RE has a great reputation, and I’m looking forward to keeping the company top of mind with brokers while helping them find the best solutions for their clients.”
Berlanga is joining the company from Marsh McLennan, where he spent three years in account management for mid-market clients.
The executive also brings experience in the health and life insurance industry, where he mentored entry-level brokers to enhance their client and communication skills.
Furthermore, his earlier career included marketing for real estate investors, helping them leverage CRM systems and marketing tools to scale their operations.
