The Mediterranean and Gulf Cooperative Insurance and Reinsurance Company (MEDGULF) has announced the appointment of Yaser Yousef Naghi as Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Rakan Abdullah Abunayyan as Vice Chairman.
These appointments apply to the current Board term, commencing on 08/05/2025G and ending on 07/05/2028G.
Naghi brings over 35 years of experience across trade, insurance, healthcare, and diversified industries.
He has held several senior leadership roles, with expertise in corporate management and business development, and previously served as Chairman of the Board of Buruj Cooperative Insurance Company.
Abunayyan brings more than 20 years of experience in investment, financial services, insurance, and various industrial sectors.
He has served on the boards of multiple companies, including as Chairman of the Board of Investment Capital and MEDGULF Insurance.
Previously, he was Vice Chairman of the Board of Ashmore Investment Saudi Arabia and Chief Investment Officer at Abunayyan Holding.
