QBE Re, the reinsurance arm of QBE Insurance Group, has announced the appointment of Robert Turner as Global Head of Structured Reinsurance.
In his new role, Turner will drive broker and cedant engagement, ensuring QBE Re can meet their evolving needs and provide innovative risk transfer solutions. He will report to Ashish Ahluwalia, Global Head of Performance & Portfolio Analytics.
Turner brings 30 years of industry experience, joining QBE Re from AXA XL, where he worked for almost seven years, most recently as Chief Underwriting Officer and Global Head of Structured Risk Solutions.
Prior to that, he spent five years at AIG, serving as Head of Alternative Solutions, AIG Europe Limited, and also held various roles at JLT.
