W. R. Berkley Corporation, a commercial lines property and casualty insurance provider, has recently announced that Hale Johnston has been appointed president of Berkley Net, one of its subsidiary companies, effective immediately.
Johnston previously served as executive vice president and chief operating officer of Berkley Enterprise Risk Solutions (BERS), where he played a central role in establishing and growing the organisation since its launch in June 2022.
Bringing over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, he has held positions on the Board of Governors for the Workers’ Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau (WCIRB) and as Chairman of the Board for the California Workers’ Compensation Institute (CWCI).
