RT Specialty hires Amber Carver as President

RT Specialty, the wholesale brokerage division of Ryan Specialty, an international specialty insurer, has appointed Amber Carver as President, based in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Carver has over 25 years of experience in insurance broking and underwriting. Most recently, she served as Vice President and Associate Managing Director of insurance brokerage firm Burns & Wilcox, focusing on property, casualty and professional liability business, writing a $45 million book of business.

She has spent nearly 27 years at Burns & Wilcox, having previously served as an Underwriting Manager and Senior Underwriter.

Carver started working in the industry as a Licensed Producer at State Farm Insurance Agency in 1995.
