MS Reinsurance (MS Re), a global reinsurer domiciled in Switzerland and part of global insurance group MS&AD, has appointed Marc Tüller and Ramiro Iturrioz as Lead Underwriters in its Agriculture underwriting team, based in Zurich and Miami, respectively.
Tüller’s appointment is effective immediately. He has nearly three decades of experience in agriculture and 25 years in reinsurance.
Iturrioz joined the Miami team on November 10th, 2025. He will concentrate on agriculture markets in Latin America, Australia, and South Africa.
Iturrioz will also act as MS Re’s centre of competence for parametric solutions for agriculture risks worldwide. He has over 30 years of experience working in agriculture and more than 25 years in reinsurance.

Yesterday, MS Re, in its first half of 2025 financial results, reported a net income increase of $27 million to $155 million, or 21% on the prior year, as the firm’s combined ratio strengthened despite a rise in incurred losses year-on-year.
