The Fidelis Partnership (TFP), a privately-owned managing general underwriter (MGU), has appointed Oliver Dlugosch as Group Head of Aviation, effective December 2025, based in London.

His remit includes driving the firm’s continued growth and leading specialty offerings across aviation and space.
Dlugosch has over 25 years of underwriting experience in commercial re/insurance, specialising in Aviation with expertise in major risks, general aviation and space.
He joins TFP following almost two decades at Swiss Re, where he held several senior underwriting positions, most recently being the Head of Aerospace for Swiss Re Corporate Solutions.
Dlugosch began his career at GE Insurance Solutions in 1997, later serving as its Head of Aviation Direct Airlines & Manufacturers. He has a global track record of underwriting leadership, having spearheaded teams from London, Munich, Zurich, the US, Australia and New Zealand.
In June 2025, he completed a two-year term as President of the International Union of Aerospace Insurers (IUAI), having served on the IUAI’s Executive Council for over a decade.
