Rokstone, an international specialty re/insurance managing general agent (MGA), has announced the launch of a dedicated Cyber division, alongside the appointment of Debbie Hobbs.

The launch of the Cyber division marks a significant milestone for Rokstone as it continues to expand its specialty underwriting footprint.
Hobbs will join Rokstone in 2026 following completion of her notice period. She brings two decades of legal, claims and underwriting leadership to the firm.
She has spent the past four years at Miller, most recently as Head of Cyber, Tech and Media. Prior to that, she served as the London Practice Cyber & Technology Lead for Ryan Specialty Group’s EmergIn Risk, where she oversaw global large and complex Cyber risks.
As a qualified lawyer, Hobbs has also worked with several of the insurance industry’s leading law firms, including DWF and Clyde & Co.
Ian Anson, Global CEO, Rokstone, commented, “We’re excited to be launching a Cyber unit and welcoming Debbie on board early next year. Cyber risk is now foundational to every modern insurance programme. Establishing a focused Cyber underwriting capability gives Rokstone specialist expertise, enhanced market credibility and a platform to build innovative solutions for our brokers and insureds. It strengthens our diversified portfolio, supports cross-class collaboration and positions us for sustainable, profitable growth in one of the market’s most strategically important lines.”
