Send Technology Solutions Ltd (Send), an insurtech firm, has announced the appointment of Daniel Pass as Chief Technology Officer.

He joins Send from Perenna, where he spent the past five years as Chief Technology Officer, leading the development of secure, scalable technology and guiding the organisation through its successful launch as a challenger bank.
Pass also held Chief Technology Officer roles at Oplo (previously 1st Stop) and AssuredSale. Prior to that, he served as Technical Director and Chief Architect at Betfred and held several senior positions overseeing systems architecture and large-scale technical projects across various firms.
Pass commented, “Send is driving significant and tangible change in the insurance market. I was immediately impressed by their award-winning underwriting platform, but also by the appetite for growth and continuous innovation that runs through the business. As a ‘tech person’ through and through, I know I’ve found the right fit for my own values and skills, and I can’t wait to support Send in delivering the next generation in insurance platforms.”
Andy Moss, co-founder and CEO of Send, added, “The right CTO is essential for any fast-growing Insurtech company. That person needs to not only understand our mission and technology, but also have the vision to support our ambitions, and the expertise to scale our offering as we grow. Dan has all of these important qualities and the necessary experience to help us achieve our international ambitions. I’m really pleased to have him join our executive team and look forward to seeing what we can achieve together.”
