Antares Global, a specialist Lloyd’s syndicate known for providing tailored marine, aviation, and property insurance solutions, has strengthened its leadership team with the promotion of Andy Bridgwood and Chris Early to joint Class Cargo Underwriters.

Bridgwood became part of Antares in April 2022, bringing with him 15 years of expertise in cargo underwriting. He started his career at Tokio Marine Europe Insurance in 2010, where he spent nine years handling cargo, freight liability, and subsea risks, before joining Generali for three years to focus exclusively on cargo insurance.
Early joined Antares in March 2025 as a Cargo Underwriter, with a decade of experience in the insurance and underwriting industry. His background includes five years at Starstone Insurance, as well as roles at AIG and Apollo, where he specialised in cargo coverage.
