Allianz Trade, a trade credit insurance provider, has announced a leadership update within its Specialty Credit & Mid Term division.
Whittington holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Master of Science from the University of Oxford.
He started his career in 2014 at Lloyd’s of London, working in areas including performance management, emerging risks, political risk, and structured trade credit.
He joined Allianz Trade in 2016 as an Assistant Underwriter on the political risk and structured trade credit team, advancing through roles as Junior Underwriter in 2017, Underwriter in 2018, and Senior Underwriter in 2020, with experience in markets such as Singapore, Paris, and New York.
Since 2021, Whittington has led the Specialty Credit & Mid Term business in London as Head of Region. He will continue to be based in London in his new global position.
