EDME Insurance Brokers, one of India’s largest insurance and reinsurance broking firms, has announced the appointment of Vinod Krishnan N as the Chief Executive Officer of its Treaty Reinsurance vertical.
His responsibilities will include leading treaty placements, capital advisory, and ensuring excellence in analytics.
He will collaborate closely with both domestic and international partners to broaden EDME’s global reinsurance presence, improve access to capacity, and solidify the firm’s position as market leader.
A seasoned and respected figure in the industry, Krishnan brings over three decades of experience across South Korea, South Asia and Southeast Asia, to his new role.
Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership roles at some of the world’s most influential broking organizations, including Aon, JLT, Guy Carpenter, Willis and Gallagher, where he led multi-market portfolios and built high-performance teams across Asia.
His tenure includes steering strategies for billion-scale reinsurance flows, strengthening global reinsurer relationships, and significantly helped to advance the sophistication and commercial strength of Asia’s reinsurance market.
Krishnan’s appointment represents a significant moment in the company’s vision to establish a globally respected, analytics-driven reinsurance platform, thereby strengthening its position in both regional and international markets.
