Bermuda-based reinsurer PartnerRe has announced that Paul Brennan will succeed Sima Ruparelia as Chief Actuarial Officer.

He joined Swiss Re in 2005 as Head of Actuarial Pricing – Director, and was later appointed Head of Actuarial & Reserving P&C (EMEA). After serving in that role for close to six years, he was appointed Global Head of Actuarial P&C.
Prior to Swiss Re, the executive spent four years as a Reserving Actuary at St Paul Re/ Travelers.
Commenting on Brennan’s appointment, Philippe Meyenhofer, PartnerRe’s CEO, said: “I am delighted to welcome Paul Brennan as PartnerRe’s new Chief Actuarial Officer.
“With over 25 years of global reinsurance experience in both reserving and pricing, Paul brings broad and deep technical leadership to our team.”
