Conduit Holdings Limited, the ultimate parent company of Bermuda-based reinsurer Conduit Re, has appointed Stephen Postlewhite as Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO), effective January 26th, 2026, subject to Bermuda immigration approval.
He has nearly three decades of experience in the re/insurance industry, having held senior roles across underwriting, risk management, and actuarial disciplines.
Additionally, Postlewhite has extensive experience in applying data-driven insights to enhance risk selection, capital allocation and exposure management.
Most recently, he served at broker McGill and Partners as Partner and Head of Capital Solutions. Before this, he was Managing Director and Global Chief Underwriting Officer at QBE Re.
In the past, Postlewhite spent over 15 years at re/insurer Aspen in progressively senior positions, including Chief Executive Officer of both the Reinsurance and Insurance divisions, Group Chief Risk Officer, and Group Chief Actuary.
