Liberty Mutual Reinsurance (LM Re), part of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, has appointed Andrew Aldwinckle as International Casualty Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO), effective 1 February 2026.
Aldwinckle brings more than 30 years of casualty reinsurance experience and joins from AXA XL Re, where he served as Head of Europe & Emerging Markets, Casualty.
Chantal Rodriguez, CUO, LM Re, and to whom Aldwinckle will report, commented, “Andrew’s wealth of market experience and proven expertise will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen our international casualty capabilities, deliver on our strategic objectives, and build on our commitment to clients and brokers across key markets.”
