Allianz UK has announced a number of executive leadership changes, including the appointment of Ulf Lange as Managing Director of Personal Lines, subject to regulatory approval.

Colm Holmes, Allianz UK CEO, said: “I’m delighted to announce these senior appointments. These are positive moves for the individuals involved as well as for Allianz UK. They act as a reminder of the strength of talent we can attract and of the global development opportunities that we can access as part of Allianz Group.
“Ulf’s experience as our Chief Financial Officer since 2023 means he has a deep knowledge and understanding of our business, the UK market and good relationships with our distribution partners. With his strength as a leader, he’s well placed to lead our personal lines business through its exciting next phase of development, as well as maintaining profitability for sustainable growth.”
Michael Ruf will take over the CFO role, bringing an extensive career in finance roles spanning more than a decade. He joins from Allianz SE in Munich, and will start his new position on 1 December.
Serge Raffard, current Managing Director of Personal Lines, is taking on a new role for Allianz, as General Manager, leading the team responsible for achieving Allianz’s growth ambitions in India. His appointment is subject to regulatory approval.
Former Chief People and Corporate Responsibility Officer for Axa UK and Ireland, Suzanne Scott has been appointed as Chief People & Culture Officer for Allianz UK.
She will be succeeding Julie Harrison, who has held the role since 2020 and has decided to move onto her next venture outside of Allianz.
David Kelly has been appointed as Chief Audit Officer, subject to regulatory approval, and will join Allianz UK in the new year. Kelly joins from Brit Insurance and takes over from Matt Cox, who was appointed as Chief Claims Officer in January.

Both leave Allianz UK with my best wishes and heartfelt thanks.
