Global insurer AIG has announced the appointment of Christophe Letondot as Global Head of Credit Lines.

In his new role, he will lead the company’s global Credit portfolio that includes Trade Credit, Trade Finance, Structured Credit and Political Risk businesses.
“As he steps into this pivotal leadership role, Christophe will continue to drive growth, underwriting excellence, and innovation across our global portfolio,” an AIG spokesperson commented.
Letondot is renowned for his deep expertise in structuring risk solutions and credit market strategies.
He is rejoining AIG after more than a decade at Marsh, where he held a number of senior roles. His extensive career also includes Chubb, Assured Guaranty, Calyon and Chenavari Financial Group.
His history with AIG dates back to 1992, where he began as an Underwriter, working on non-traditional insurance programs (Alternative Risk Finance), and later served as a Trade Credit Underwriter.
Prior to his time at Marsh, Letondot had also rejoined AIG as a Senior Structuring Underwriter within Global Risk Solutions.
