Andrea Scascighini has been named Chief Underwriting Officer of Swiss Re’s P&C Re Casualty business.
In that capacity, he oversaw pricing, portfolio steering, and data and analytics activities for the global Casualty treaty business.
He joined Swiss Re in 2002 and has since held a series of progressively senior positions, including Head Globals & France Casualty Treaty Desk, Head of Casualty Treaty Underwriting for U.S. Large Clients in Armonk, and Head of the Regional & National Casualty Underwriting team based in Zurich.
Earlier in his career, he also served as Senior Underwriter in Paris and Casualty Desk Head in Zurich.
