Howden acquires North Wales-based insurance broker Gott & Wynne

Howden, the global insurance and reinsurance broking group, has announced the acquisition of Gott & Wynne Limited (Gott & Wynne), a general insurance broker based in Llandudno, North Wales.

Led by Barry Wynne, Michael Clough, and Steven Goldsmith, Gott & Wynne specialises in both personal and commercial lines. The firm has particular expertise in insurance for Morgan sports cars and classic cars, as well as commercial, business, and property insurance. All three leaders will remain with the business following completion of the acquisition.

The acquisition of Gott & Wynne marks Howden’s first branch in North Wales, building on its already significant presence elsewhere in the country.
