Sompo APAC promotes Li Li Leong to Head of Actuarial, Singapore

Sompo Asia Pacific, part of Sompo International Holdings Ltd., has announced the promotion of Li Li Leong to Head of Actuarial, Singapore.

In her new role, Leong will lead Sompo Insurance Singapore’s Actuarial Division, responsible for full regulatory compliance while overseeing risk analysis and product pricing. She will also support strategic initiatives and ensure actuarial insights are aligned with business objectives.

Leong will report directly to Mudit Gupta, Chief Actuary, Asia Pacific, with a matrix reporting line to Pui Phusangmook, Chief Executive Officer, Sompo Singapore.

She brings 18 years of actuarial experience and has spent almost four years at Sompo, initially joining as Actuarial Manager for Sompo Insurance Singapore before being promoted to Actuarial Senior Manager.

Prior to that, she served as a Pricing Actuary at ERGO Insurance Singapore and held roles at Tokio Marine Insurance Group (Asia) and MSIG Asia.

In a recent LinkedIn post, Sompo APAC stated, “Her promotion is a testament to her dedication, leadership and wealth of actuarial expertise. We are confident that she will excel in this new capacity.”
