
Howden, the global insurance and reinsurance broking group, has appointed sports industry expert Jonny Gray as a Senior Advisor to its Sport and Entertainment practice, based in London.

Previously, Gray has held several senior appointments in the sports sector. He will continue to serve as a Senior Advisor to Ankura Sports Advisory Group, which he helped establish and co-led for several years.
He is also an international sports disputes arbitrator for Sport Resolutions, an Independent Non-Executive Director with the International Table Tennis Federation, and was appointed as the Independent Bid Monitor for the UK bid to host the 2035 FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2025.
Previously, Gray established and served as the Chief Executive Officer of the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA), the regulator of professional tennis worldwide.
Before that, he was the Global Head of Sport at UK consultancy Control Risks, which included an 11-year stint in the US.
He has also worked on numerous FIFA and IOC events globally and was an advisor to the NFL ahead of its inaugural ‘London Series’.
