
AmTrust has announced the expansion of its Excess and Surplus (E&S) division, introducing new product lines in property, environmental, and builders risk, and welcomed senior industry talent.

This new brokerage casualty group complements the company’s range of E&S product lines, creating a more complete offering for this specialty market, AmTrust noted.

Brian Mulvihill will be leading the new casualty brokerage group as Senior Vice President, Casualty Brokerage, and will be based in Morristown, New Jersey.
He joined AmTrust in August 2025 from Crum & Forster Insurance where he spent over nine years in underwriting and management roles in areas including Construction, Unified XS, and most recently, Vice President, Excess & Umbrella, Head of Wholesale East.
Kevin Sullivan was appointed Vice President, Property, and will be based in New York. Sullivan joined the company in April 2024 following more than 11 years at AXA XL as a Vice President.
In January 2025, AM Trust welcomed Tom Kashickey, who was tasked with leading the environmental group as Vice President, based in Los Angeles.
He has nearly twenty years in the environmental insurance market, including underwriting and senior leadership roles at Ironshore (now Liberty Mutual) and AXIS Capital, following a legal career including corporate transactional and securities specialisation.
Based in New York, Rob Tricamo joined AmTrust in April 2025 as Vice President, Builders Risk. He previously spent 11 years at Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance, where he most recently served as Vice President of Construction Property.
Sullivan, Kashickey and Tricamo will be leading the company’s property, environmental, and builders risk product lines, bringing extensive expertise in these c critical E&S areas.
They, along with Mulvihill, will join the existing E&S management team, which includes Topher Fylak, Vice President, AmTrust E&S Binding Authority, Jackie Hennig, Vice President, E&S Unsupported Excess and Tom Hartnett, Vice President, Underwriting, E&S.
In their new roles, Mulvihill, Sullivan, Tricamo, Fylak, and Hartnett will report to Bublitz. Curt Fletcher, who recently joined the company, will lead AMTrust’s new E&S premier group, which focuses on complex casualty business distributed through a select group of leaders.
