Zurich Resilience Solutions (ZRS), the commercial risk advisory unit of Zurich Insurance Group, has expanded its comprehensive climate resilience offerings, Climate Spotlight, to Asia Pacific.

This launch underscores Zurich’s global commitment to supporting customers through the climate transition, helping them manage risks, and build resilience.
The regional rollout is influenced by the latest World Meteorological Organization data which shows that Asia is warming at twice the global average rate.
A recent study by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, which covered over 4,000 firms across 13 APAC economies, further highlights the region’s growing vulnerability, as regional companies were found more prone to climate hazards than their global peers, with nearly half being highly exposed to multiple risks.
Climate Spotlight is available as two tailored solutions, the first is: Climate Spotlight Core, an interactive self-service dashboard that enables organisations and public entities to quickly and flexibly identify climate risk exposure for up to 100 sites worldwide.
The second is: Climate Spotlight Expert which offers advanced customisation, including business and exposure-related metrics, vulnerability data, analysis for several sites, and expert consultation throughout the process.
Overall, the offering delivers actionable insights for both strategic and operational decisions, simplifying climate-related reporting with alignment to ISSB IFRS2 climate related disclosures and compliance with frameworks such as TCFD and CSRD.
It also delivers insights and data necessary for climate reporting, covering four different climate change scenarios up to the year 2100. This analysis includes risk identification, risk materiality and hazard evolution, which can be integrated directly into the TCFD framework and is compatible with CSRD requirements.
Mark Fletcher, Head of Zurich Resilience Solutions, APAC, commented, “Since its debut in November last year, Climate Spotlight has received strong interest and positive feedback from clients worldwide. In Asia Pacific, where climate change risks are intensifying, understanding and acting on climate risk exposure is more important than ever.
“As leaders in Risk Engineering, we developed Climate Spotlight to empower organizations to identify, prioritize, quantify, and address their climate risks, helping safeguard their people and assets for years to come.”
