Blenheim Underwriting, a specialist managing general agent (MGA) and Lloyd’s coverholder, has appointed Phil Lawson and Alex Hewlett as Class Underwriters, effective February 2026.
The appointments follow a string of key appointments across both MGA and syndicate in recent months, the most recent being that of Alex Stratton-Thomsett as casualty underwriter.
The pair joins Blenheim following 12 years at SCOR Syndicate 2015. Most recently, Lawson served as a class underwriter and Hewlett as senior underwriter.
